Chive Butter
A simple solution to brightening up a seemingly ordinary and expected side on the table. This butter comes together in minutes, can be made days in advance and creates a pleasant wow factor. The options for use of this butter are endless—from rolls, cornbread, potatoes to fish, chicken, pasta or even for basting your Turkey, have fun with it!
RECIPE
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened to room temperature
2 tablespoons chives
2 cloves of garlic, grated
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions:
In a medium-sized bowl, using either a hand mixer or a spatula, mix softened butter and chives together. Add in garlic, garlic powder and lemon juice and mix until evenly combined.
*If you would like to shape the butter for serving, simply place the butter mixture it in the middle of a sheet of parchment paper. Fold the parchment along the sides of the butter to create the desired shaped, such as a rectangle or log.
